● Advantages and Features
Magigen Hotstart Taq DNA Polymerase 2.0 is an antibody-mediated thermostable DNA polymerase, where Taq is point mutated thermostable DNA polymerase. Compared to the wild-type Taq Polymerase, this product has better salt tolerance3. At the same time, the half-life increases to 30 minutes at 95 ℃, and the reaction rate reaches 15s/kb. After heating for 30 seconds, it can be fully activated, exhibiting 5 '-3' DNA polymerase activity and double stranded DNA specific 5 '-3' exonuclease activity. No 3 '-5' exonuclease activity. PCR amplification products using this product has a base "A" attached to the 3 'end, which can be directly used for TA cloning.
