● Magigen RT enzyme Features
Magicscript Reverse Transcriptase, RTase II, is a recombinant DNA polymerase. It is a product of the pol gene of Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M MLV). Based on the reduction of RNase H activity , genetically engineered, Magicscript Reverse Transcriptase II works perfect over a wider temperature range with higher thermal stability and longer half-life.
● Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will incorporate 1 nmol of dTTP into acid-insoluble material in 10 minutes at 37°C using poly(rA)•oligo(dT) as template/primer.

1. The optimal temperature range of magicscript thermostable reverse transcriptase II is 37-45 ℃, Its RNaseH activity was one-third that of wild-type MLV. When the temperature is higher than 45 ℃ (lower than 65 ℃), the residual activity will decrease correspondingly with the increase of temperature, but at least 70% of the activity can still be maintained.
2. When using this product for one-step RT-PCR experiments, it is recommended to add the following components to the complete PCR system (including templates, specific primers and other components) that researchers have:
